Eli Lilly and Company strives to ensure all aspects of its operations are performed in a safe and environmentally responsible manner. The protection of the environment and the health and safety of its employees, contractors and visitors is a fundamental value that must be pursued vigorously.

Every person, working for or contracted by, Eli Lilly and Company is responsible for contributing to the provisions of a safe workplace. The responsibility for your own safety, the safety of others and the protection of property and the environment is shared by Eli Lilly and Company and you. Any person who observes an unsafe condition or act should report it to his/her Supervisor and/or Lilly Work Area Contact.

What is Qualification?

As part of the effort to protect workers from hazards, Eli Lilly utilizes a "Qualification" system that educates contractors and vendors about Eli Lilly's contractor safety expectations. This process requires the submittal of documentation of regulatory compliance regarding safety and best practices, along with other company information. A minimum set of criteria is expected to pass the initial "qualification". Once a firm has successfully been "qualified", they are allowed to bid and potentially work with Eli Lilly. "Qualification" does not guarantee work with Eli Lilly, but rather eligibility to bid for and execute work.

How does my company get "Qualified"?

Eli Lilly will request information from contractors to complete an online application process, an email with the instructions for the process will be sent.
